Here are some of my tried-and-true tips that have helped me get the most out of my skincare routine.
- Cleanse Your Face Properly.
Clean skin is indisputable evidence of good health. Too many people, unfortunately, make the error of over-cleansing their faces. To keep your skin clean, all you need to do is wash it once a day, preferably before bedtime.
To eliminate grime and dirt, stay away from harsh bar soap and facial cleansers. They can deplete your face and neck of natural oils, leaving you with an uncomfortable tight, dry feeling.
Stick to a gentle cleanser with high concentrations of active, natural ingredients instead. Kaolin and bentone gel are two of the gentlest but most efficient natural ingredients for eliminating grime and leaving your face and neck silky soft.
Rinse well with warm water. Forget the old adage that washing your pores with hot or cold water is healthy for them. Warm water is, without a doubt, the greatest.
- Exfoliate at least once a week
Exfoliation is an important aspect of a regular skincare routine because it eliminates dead skin cells and pollutants that are expelled via the skin. You might be pleasantly surprised by how well your skin reacts to this weekly cleansing routine. I was certainly one of them.

- Use plant-based oils and emollients to moisturise.
Plant-based oils and emollients have been clinically proven to hydrate, nourish, and support healthy cell activity. This is in stark contrast to a thick cold cream, which blocks pores and prevents toxins from being excreted naturally.
A moisturiser with high percentages of avocado and macadamia nut oils is my personal favourite. Because of the deep richness of these extracts, I only need a “dime-size” amount to obtain a wonderfully rich softness.
